Each of our sites hosts (nearly) monthly volunteer trainings. These trainings are required for anyone interested in becoming a host parent or parent advocate.

Annual National Events

Help Carry the Weight is our annual ruck march!

At each of our sites, teams spend a week rucking to raise funds for vulnerable families.

In 2026, Help Carry the Weight will take place September 19-26, with an awesome kick-off event on September 19!

You can participate in the fundraiser by rucking as an individual or a team, or by supporting one of our amazing ruckers.

Our 9th annual Together for Good gala is an opportunity to share the impact that volunteers, donors, and believers serving Jesus have had on our community.

The 2026 Together for Good Gala will be on November 14 at the Hilton Minneapolis.

For volunteers in Minnesota, we offer ongoing trainings called Growing Deeper. These trainings tackle topics specific to the work and service that host families, parent advocates, and support volunteers encounter often while serving with Together for Good.

The goal is to equip and encourage each volunteer in the work God has called them to through TFG.
