Why the Church?
We are serving two populations at Together for Good. We serve and care for the vulnerable – the families in a crisis that need support – and we serve the Church by providing them with a pathway to care for those around them.
Many Christians want to support vulnerable families, but they often don't know how to start addressing suffering and hardship in their communities. Our goal is to inspire Christians to take action in their own cities. We believe that the mission field is close to home, and we aim to be the bridge between those who need help and those who can help. We want to empower, encourage, and equip local churches to serve their communities by loving their neighbors.​​

Why Serve Through TFG?
Many individuals who serve in the child welfare sector experience an exceptionally high level of burnout. One of the primary reasons to partner with TFG in serving vulnerable families is the support and oversight provided by our professional staff.

Our team will train volunteers from your congregation in trauma-informed caregiving, ensuring that host families and parent advocates can navigate volunteering with confidence and competence.
Furthermore, TFG staff are always available to help navigate difficult situations or questions that arise while you are serving. Our goal is for you to be well-equipped to step into serving families in crisis and those experiencing chronic stress, and to be well-supported as you serve.
