This Mom Didn't Want Her Six-Month-Old to Sleep Outside

When Hannah* was abruptly told she had to leave the shelter she and her six-month-old son were staying at, she called Together for Good. When Kelsie, the TFG case manager, listened to Hannah’s story, she had the perfect host family come to mind, so she told Hannah confidently that she could find a place for Michael to stay..

This particular host family had just finished the approval process, and they were ready to begin serving. When Kelsie presented the hosting need, they readily said, “Yes!” to caring for Michael.

The same afternoon as receiving Hannah’s call, the host family was picking up Michael.
